Over the years our clients have come to us with many problems.  Here's how The Computer Guys have used our experience and technology to solve them.

 

Many companies have small remote offices spread across the city, state or country, how do you cost effectively support them?

 

Until recently the answer was a hodgepodge of mostly ineffective or expensive strategies.  Companies could have the remote sites bring in the troublesome PC when the remote employee came to the main office, or try to walk them through the problem resolution over the phone.  They might look for a local support company to resolve issues, or rely on the skills of the remote employee to keep the PC useable.  Sometimes they would ship a “good” PC to the remote user, and have them ship the “bad” one back to be repaired.

 

Some of these strategies worked better than others, but they all have flaws and are expensive in either hard costs or lost time and productivity.

 

At The Computer Guys we have solved this problem by using internet technology to securely take remote control of the PC and resolve the problem quickly, and professionally.  We can discuss the issue with the user over the phone while looking at the screen as if we were sitting there with him.  It is as if we made a service call to the site to fix the problem, only they don’t have to wait days or weeks to get it done.
