I'm very excited for this one, this year, The Computer Guys, is officially launching TCG Gives.
We soft-launched the program in the last quarter of 2025, but this marks our first full-steam-ahead year. TCG has always been a partner to local charities and the Metro Detroit community. We’ve supported great causes over the years, but we haven’t truly championed organizations the way we intend to moving forward.
Community service and giving back have always been core principles in my life. I’ve helped build and support programs that give back to the Metro Detroit community in many different ways. Being able to formalize that passion into an official program at TCG is something I’m incredibly proud of.
Each quarter, TCG will select a charity that is doing meaningful work or is in need of support within our community. These organizations will focus on strengthening our local economy, supporting kids and schools, helping families, and caring for our furry friends. Selections will be made with input from our employees, clients, family, and friends.
TCG will begin each quarter with a base donation, and as we bring on new business and new clients, we’ll continue to grow that donation throughout the quarter.
For our first official quarter, we’ve selected the Farmington & Farmington Hills Education Foundation as our recipient. The Foundation’s mission is to foster investment in innovative educational opportunities for students within Farmington Public Schools, helping educators bring ideas to life beyond traditional funding models.
As a technology company and managed service provider, we know firsthand how critical STEM education is to the future of our industry and our communities. The programs supported by the Foundation encourage creativity, innovation, and early exposure to technology, helping students develop problem-solving skills and an interest in fields like IT, engineering, and science.
These are the same skills we rely on every day as an MSP and the same skills that will shape the next generation of technologists. By supporting the Farmington & Farmington Hills Education Foundation, we’re investing in education, future talent, innovation, and the long-term growth of our local community.
This is what TCG Gives is all about. Giving back intentionally, supporting what matters, and growing together.
