TCG Gives

Giving back to the communities that have supported us for more than 30 years.

TCG Gives is The Computer Guys, Inc.’s formal charitable giving program,  deliberately created to strengthen and reinvest in the communities that have sustained our business for more than three decades. Each quarter, we select a non-profit or charitable organization to receive a financial donation through this program.

Our quarterly contribution begins with a set base fund that grows through a percentage of our new client on-boarding fees, and projects. As our business grows, so does our ability to give back. The organizations we choose are guided by suggestions from our staff and clients, while also considering community needs and additional impact factors.

We’re proud of the TCG Gives program and the role it plays in advancing meaningful causes. Our commitment goes beyond financial contributions, TCG believes in supporting our communities through funding, physical donations, and hands-on volunteer work. Together, we aim to make a lasting, positive difference.

2026 TCG Gives Selected Quarterly Recipients Q1 & Q2

For the second quarter of 2026, TCG Gives has selected the USO as our recipient.

With several veteran staff members on our team, we understand firsthand the importance of supporting the individuals who dedicate their lives to keeping our country and communities safe. That perspective is a big part of why we’ve chosen the USO as our Q2 recipient.

The United Service Organizations (USO) is a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the well-being of active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. Since its founding in 1941, the USO has provided critical support through programs that focus on connection, resilience, and morale—no matter where service members are stationed around the world.

The organization operates USO centers on military bases and in airports, offering a place to rest, recharge, and connect with loved ones. They also deliver care packages, host events, and provide entertainment experiences that bring a sense of home to those serving far from it. From holiday programs and family support services to transition assistance for veterans returning to civilian life, the USO plays a vital role at every stage of military service.

By bridging the gap between service members and the communities they protect, the USO helps ensure that those who serve feel appreciated, supported, and connected. Their work has a lasting impact on the morale and well-being of millions of military families worldwide.

For the first quarter of 2026, TCG Gives selected the Farmington/ Farmington Hills Education Foundation for our recipient.

The Farmington/Farmington Hills Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to investing in innovative educational opportunities for students in the Farmington Public Schools district. Its mission is to expand learning experiences beyond what standard school funding can provide, helping students succeed academically, creatively, and socially.

The Foundation accomplishes this by raising funds, building relationships, and awarding grants that support programs and activities in several key areas: technology opportunities, scholastic achievement, fine and performing arts, and extracurricular enrichment. This allows teachers and staff to bring creative and hands-on educational ideas to life that would not otherwise be possible within traditional school budgets.

They also offer scholarships for graduating seniors and sponsor community events and programs that enrich student experiences, such as robotics and other academic competitions. Grant awards have touched every school in the district, helping to introduce meaningful projects in classrooms across grade levels.

The Foundation acts as a bridge between the community and the school district, encouraging investment from individuals, businesses, and local supporters to enhance educational opportunities for all students.
